Careers in manufacturing come in many different forms. From machinists, to engineers, to GMs, there are a variety of rewarding career paths that can be found within the industry. In the previous installment of our Manufacturing Spotlight series, we featured Katie, a machinist at MD&A Turbines and a graduate of the NAMC training programs, who has proven that hard work, combined with expertise, can lead to rapid career advancement.
For the latest installment of our Manufacturing Spotlight series, we spoke with Dan Moss, the GM and Plant Manager of the MD&A Turbines facility in Danvers, Massachusetts.
Dan is yet another example of the unique path one can take to achieve career success in manufacturing. He began as a welder & fabricator, before attending trade school to further his career. Now, Dan has been in the role of plant manager for roughly a year and a half.
