How long is the training program?

Program length varies depending on the class. On average, the classes are 15
weeks long for a total of 300 hours.

What are eligibility requirements?

Following are the requirements:

  • 18+ years of age
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Legally eligible to work in US
  • 8th grade reading and math assessment
  • Unemployed OR Underemployed
  • Some of the schools do CORI checks

What certifications will I receive after completing the CNC program?

CNC Machine OperatorProgram

  • Upon successful completion of the CNC Machine program, students will either
    take a NIMS or MACWIC Exam. (NIMS is the national CNC Machining certification agency and MACWIC provides the Massachusetts Statewide Applied Technology Pathway Certification).
  • OSHA 10 Certificate
  • Center for Manufacturing Technologies, Certificate of Completion

What certifications will I receive after completing the Electromechanical program?

Electro-Mechanical Assembler Program

  • IPC-A-610 Certification (exam based)
  • IPC J-STD-001 Certification (exam based)
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • LARE Institute, Certificate of Completion

Welding Operator Program

  • Hot Works Certification
  • OSHA 10 Certification
