How long is the training program?
Program length varies depending on the class. On average, the classes are 15
weeks long for a total of 300 hours.
What are eligibility requirements?
Following are the requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Legally eligible to work in US
- 8th grade reading and math assessment
- Unemployed OR Underemployed
- Some of the schools do CORI checks
What certifications will I receive after completing the CNC program?
CNC Machine OperatorProgram
- Upon successful completion of the CNC Machine program, students will either
take a NIMS or MACWIC Exam. (NIMS is the national CNC Machining certification agency and MACWIC provides the Massachusetts Statewide Applied Technology Pathway Certification). - OSHA 10 Certificate
- Center for Manufacturing Technologies, Certificate of Completion

- IPC-A-610 Certification (exam based)
